PTA Meeting

The next membership meeting of the CES PTA will be Thursday, May 25 at 6:30 pm in the CES cafeteria. We will be electing officers for the 2023 - 2024 school year and having a year-in-review. Hope you can join us for the final meeting of the year!

CES Spring Fair - Saturday, May 6, 10 am to 2 pm

We can't wait to see the entire CES community on Saturday, May 6 from 10 am until 2 pm, rain or shine! We need volunteers to run the game booths on the day, so be sure to keep an eye on your email for sign ups from your Cub's class parent or sign up here now to get first dibs on shifts!

Stock the Staff Room

Teaching is hard work that requires plenty of snacks. So this year, the CES PTA is making sure the staff room is fully stocked all year. Families can help in two ways : by purchasing snacks off the staff Amazon Wishlist, and by signing up to refill the snacks in the staff room. Each homeroom has an assigned week, so find your Cub's teacher.

Current Funding Focus : Whole School Gift Giving

In an effort to make gift giving more equitable for all staff in the school, the PTA will be collecting donations for a fund that will be used to give ALL staff at Carrboro a gift. This is a great way to show your appreciation to specials teachers, resource teachers, specialists, and other support staff around the school such as the secretaries, cafeteria workers, and custodians. This option does not have to replace any individual gifts and is completely voluntary. Please note that your donations to this fund are tax deductible.
